Mark J. Eckert

Mr. Eckert has eighteen years experience in Information Systems and Accounting in the health insurance industry.

He began his career in 1989 with Forrest T. Jones Consulting Company, (formerly AIMCO) working in the accounting department. He soon moved to the MIS department and found his niche, quickly moving up to the Manager position. In this position he oversaw all hardware functions and software programs both within the organization and as a liaison with third party vendors.

In 1995, after Forrest T Jones closed their Phoenix office, Mark accepted a position as a Software Support Specialist with Genelco, Inc, a St Louis based company, that specializes in software for both Life and Health Insurance. During his stay with Genelco Mark was fortunate to travel the globe in his support role as a trainer and software troubleshooter.

In 1997 Mark felt the warm desert tug and relocated back to Phoenix to join Summit/SRT Administrators as their Director of Financial and Information Services overseeing the accounting and IS areas including internal hardware/software support, LAN and WAN, remote communications, ad-hoc reporting, web based applications, client file transfers, phone system programming, office equipment and as an intermediary to the various vendor supplied software applications. As the company has grown Mark has relinquished his accounting duties and now solely concentrates on Information Services.
